Tamalyah Arnould “TAMMY”
I am 23 years old and I was born in Hyères. I have lived in Guadeloupe since I was 2 years old and I work in
the family restaurant while continuing to produce my art. Since I was young, I have always loved
express myself through art, encouraged by my mother who also painted and drew.
My works often focus on characters with original characteristics, often
asymmetrical, with marked features. I work mainly with three techniques:
oil painting, black ink drawing, and digital art.
My art is a way for me to express my concerns, my misunderstandings, and sometimes what
feeling of not finding my place in a sometimes complicated world. But it also allows me
to immortalize moments of calm and comfort, offering a more serene perspective
in my art.
I hope my art can touch people, offering them a connection or a reflection on
the emotions I seek to express. My wish is simply that my works can
resonate with them and bring a moment of comfort or a new perspective.
